The 2007-2008 Season for Gerrards Cross and Fulmer Football Club is now well underway at King George’s Field and this will be our sixth year of operation during which we should enrol our 200th member.
With 12 age groups from 6 to 18 operating on Sunday mornings throughout the winter we are now at full capacity having to utilise the Packhorse pitch in Gerrards Cross for both Training and Matches in addition to the main and mini-pitches on Fulmer Recreation Ground.
We have finally managed to reach agreement with Fulmer Cricket Club over sharing the ground every September and April and we have our new car park in operation which, after taking a little while to get people to change their habits, has succeeded in reducing the number of cars parking on Fulmer Common Lane.
The Pavilion at the ground is open nearly every Sunday morning from 9.30 am for a couple of hours so why not come along and support your local teams and enjoy a very reasonably priced steaming hot cup of coffee or tea with a nice bacon roll. It will set you up for the day!
